We have already stated that to feel good about yourself, one of the things you can do is build a list of your strengths. I hope you crated that list, because now you are going to take it out and build on it. Find ways the hone your strengths and turn them into valuable skills. Of instance, if you are good at playing guitar, make sure to set aside time each day to improve this craft and level up your skill.
Similarly, tap into your different strengths and develop the habit of doing something that utilize your skills. Take one strength each day and make a list of different practices that could help you focus on and improve that talent. Try each of those technique each day and by the end of two weeks, you will have realized many skills you never knew you had and you will have improved the man you did.
You could work on a new strength each week or each month. After a few month, you will have several skills up yours sleeve and will feel very proud of yourself.
Additionally, develop a habit of learning from your accomplishments and using those experiences and lessons in new experiences. If you face a tricky obstacle, rummage through your memories and figure out how you resolved problem in the past and emerged victorious in the end.
Building on your accomplishments and using that knowledge to do well in the present is another good habit that strengthens your mindset and helps you create new strategies that help you resolve issues. By so doing, you can be sure that you will ride on your successes to become ever more successful in whatever you do.
For instance, if you are pre-school teacher who deals with little toddlers, you could take lessons from your experiences with your pervious class to work on the new one. Taking this example further, if one of your current students has anger issues and throws tantrums, recall a time when you dealt with a similar student a couple of years back an how you encouraged that student to behave nicely. Using lessons from your accomplishments will help you build on your achievements and will even make your present better too.
