All of this was distracting from the messy process of moving forward.

This forced us to look at the absolute worst thing that could happen to us. Often, the fear of a thing is worse than the thing itself. Although we were ultimately worried about failing, running through the worst case scenarios helped temper our fears. We balance our concerns with more reality scenarios, understanding that tragedy could befall us but it probably would not. Of course there was the nest case scenario which was what we hoped would happen. We looked at his whole spectrum of potential circumstances and then make the best choices we could.
