One of my favorite ways to find ideas is by studying the marketplaces where people are trying o spend money. Your potential customers are everywhere already asking in public for solutions.
Marketplaces on Craigslist, Etsy or Facebook have millions of people each day wanting to pay to have their problem solved. So look for frequent requests on Craigslist gigs from people actively searching for someone to give their money to in exchange for particular services.
Check completed listings on eBay. This allows you to see how well certain products are selling. It is also an easy way to measure the sale process of items and gauge the overall percentage of the market that is receiving bids.
