According to the all REITs Index produced by FTSE NAREIT, there were 225 public traded REITs with a combined public equity market capitalization of $939 billion at 2015. Among the 223 publicly traded REITs in the FTSE NAREIT ALL REITs Index, 198 were listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the remaining 25 25 were listed on either the National Association of Securitas Dealer Automated Quotation System (NASDAQ) or the American Stock Exchange (AMEX)
